We hope that everyone is staying home, staying safe, and staying healthy during this difficult time. We wanted to provide you with an update on when we hope to return to normal business. At Olberding Dental, our main goal has always been to protect the health of our patients, our team of dental professionals and their families, and our community. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the dramatic increase of cases the past few weeks in Nebraska and Lincoln/Lancaster County, we will continue to remain closed for all elective dental treatment until June 1st. Our continued closure is intended to promote social distancing and to help support efforts to stop the spread of this highly contagious oral-pharyngeal virus. We do understand that other dental offices in our community have made the decision to open in early May. Due to the very high risk of infection to dental professionals, we do not feel this timeline is appropriate for our dental team and patients at this time. Economic benefit should never take precedent over our safety and health.

We at Olberding Dental already assure universal precautions as outlined by CDC and OSHA standards of infection control. Safety has always been our number one focus! Our high standard of care ensures that your trust and safety are never compromised. We will be taking extended measures to further protect all of our patients and team with additional protocols. Things will certainly look different to you when you return to our office and we hope to show you that we can continue to practice dentistry in a safe manner until the this health risk is fully resolved. Over the next several weeks we will be be implementing, testing, and refining these protocols so we will be fully prepared for you when we return to work in June. We are all very eager to return to work, but we want to ensure that we are returning to work safely!

If you have a dental emergency, please call the our office and we will make sure your needs are addressed immediately. If you already have essential dental treatment scheduled, we will keep you on the schedule or will contact you shortly to re-appoint your treatment as needed.
